One meaning of “Vista” is “a broad mental perspective.” It is normal when you are facing problems to get tunnel vision. Your view narrows, emotions get involved, and before you know it, you are in a downward spiral of thoughts and emotions that get you stuck. With counseling, it is helpful for someone outside of your tunnel vision of spiraling “stuckness” to help you see things from a different perspective, to broaden your thinking and open your mind to new ways of seeing your problems and help you find solutions.
